CandX.ca

CandX is a coast-to-coast, multi-mode digital network optimized for Canadian ham operators. Built on a Tier-1 ISP framework and powered by XLX reflector software, CanDX strategically establishes each XLX node on, or near, Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) to deliver superior routing and connectivity. This setup provides operators across Canada with low-latency communication and seamless transcoding between modes.

Supporting digital modes like D-STAR and DMR, CanDX minimizes the limitations of typical ISP routing, ensuring consistent, high-quality links across Canada’s vast 5,500-kilometer span. Reduced latency also enhances Net Control for coordinating nets, allowing for more efficient communication across large regions.
